This, my friends, is a meme: Comment anonymously on this post and tell me something, anything you want. Tell me something about me, you, the world, a secret, confession, something you never said before. Be completely honest and write anything in the world you want. Then put this in your journal and see what people tell you.
IPs are off. (not that i know how to use them, anyway) Have fun.
I don't know what to make of it. I've seen it work in many ways, few positive [for me]. Nobody cares about being anonymous if what they have to say is something admirable or complimentary, right? So I've seen this meme get incredibly critical and judgemental, I've seen it become an all out confession, I've seen it go tongue-in-cheek, and I've seen a rare comment.
I feel like adding it would be a bad idea. The way my mind works, it'll ignite gears and I'll start trying to figure out who said what, if it's something I'm personally involved in. So keep me from doing that. Write like this:
use all lowercase. do not spell words like "you" by typing "u." i understand that voice is hard to contain, but i'm no good at pulling it out, anyway. at the very least, keep me from guessing by grammar and spelling. good? great?
anonymous comments... begin!

By the way, a study of my posting habits and an analysis of my May posts would indicate that I haven't had a bad day in over a month.

MAFIA RULES
The moderator will create two chat rooms -- one for everybody and one for the mafia. The mafia members and the screamer will be chosen and informed by a personal message over AIM -- all other communications happen in the chat room.
No cheating. It wrecks it. That means no private messages that even mention Mafia. It's really not that complicated.
And for those who don't know:
Two mafia membersand one screamer (sometimes three and two, it will be announced at the beginning of the game) are chosen. The screamer knows who the mafia members are -- but they have to inform the others covertly, with subliminal messages and small hints -- no blatant "ITS HIM."s.
Screamers will not know who the other screamer is. Mafia members will know who the mafia members are.
The mafia members kill off one person a night. And then, everybody else tries to figure out who in town is a mafia member. They vote somebody to their death, hopefully a mafia member, maybe not, and then the mafia kills somebody, back and forth, back and forth, until either all the mafia members are gone or all the villagers are dead.
Once somebody has died, they will be invited to a dead-person room. They are allowed to watch the rest of the game if they wish, but if they say a single thing in the Discussion room (aka: interfere with the game), they will be booted.
